Super Bowl LX: Penn State Guaranteed Another Ring in Santa Clara

February 3, 2026
Alumni Watch

With the Patriots facing the Seahawks in Super Bowl LX, a Nittany Lion is guaranteed to hoist the Lombardi Trophy. We look at the alumni matchup.

Guaranteed Ring in Santa Clara

The streak continues.

When the New England Patriots face off against the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX on February 8, 2026, Penn State will legally be unable to lose. Thanks to alumni on both sidelines, the Nittany Lions are guaranteed to add another Super Bowl Champion to their history books.

The Matchup

Caeden Wallace (OL, New England Patriots)

The former Penn State right tackle has found a home in Foxborough. Drafted to bolster the Patriots’ offensive line, Wallace has developed into a reliable protector. His role in keeping the pocket clean against the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game was pivotal. A win here would cap an incredible second-year ascent for the lineman.

VS

Chris Stoll (LS, Seattle Seahawks)

The specialist. Chris Stoll, the Mannelly Award winner during his time in State College, continues to be flawless at the professional level. Long snappers rarely get headlines, but in a game expected to be decided by field goals and field position, Stoll’s precision is the Seahawks’ silent weapon.

The Streak

Penn State has had a player in the Super Bowl for 55 consecutive years (minus a few technicalities), a testament to the program’s ability to produce NFL-ready talent. Whether it’s Wallace blocking for a game-winning drive or Stoll snapping for a buzzer-beating kick, a Nittany Lion will be celebrating in the confetti next Sunday.
