Carnell played 11 games with six tackles and half a sack at Iowa State in 2025, after four games and two tackles in 2024. Penn State’s available 2026 biography has no current game line.
Alijah Carnell joined Penn State’s 2026 defensive tackle group after two seasons at Iowa State. He played four games there in 2024 while redshirting, then appeared in 11 as a reserve in 2025. His 2025 line was six tackles and half a sack, according to both schools’ player biographies.
Carnell’s half-sack came against Arkansas State, a game in which he made two tackles. Iowa State also credits him with a quarterback hurry against Arizona. Those are Cyclones plays, not Penn State statistics. Across both Iowa State seasons he appeared in 15 games and made eight tackles.
Penn State lists Carnell at 6-foot-5 and 299 pounds on its current roster. The available Penn State biography does not yet give him a 2026 game line, so his prior-school participation is the documented basis for discussing his experience in the interior defensive-line group.
