Jackson has four Penn State appearances in 2026, with a 10-yard catch against Marshall and a separate 12-yard rush against Buffalo. His 188 high-school receptions are not college statistics.
Amarion Jackson is a freshman receiver from Millard South High School in Omaha. Penn State lists him at 6-foot-2 and 192 pounds. His high-school record was substantial: the official biography credits him with 188 receptions for 3,321 yards and 40 touchdowns across his prep career. Those numbers are high-school production, not a college receiving line.
Jackson’s first Penn State season has a smaller, specific game record. The official biography lists four appearances in 2026, one catch for 10 yards against Marshall on September 5 and one 12-yard rush against Buffalo on September 19. The rush is separate from his receiving total.
Those touches show that Jackson has entered games as a freshman, while leaving his longer-term receiver role unsettled. His high-school output helps explain his arrival in the program; it should not be used to project a fixed place in Penn State’s current target order. Further college game production will give a firmer basis for assessing his development.
