Sokach-Minnick appeared in two Penn State games in each season from 2023 through 2025 and four of the first four games in 2026. He was named to the preseason Mannelly Award watch list, not selected as a finalist.
Blaise Sokach-Minnick is a redshirt-senior long snapper from West Pittston, Pennsylvania. Before 2026 he had appeared in six Penn State games, two in each of the 2023, 2024 and 2025 seasons. Penn State lists him with four appearances across the first four games of 2026, through Wisconsin.
He was named to the Patrick Mannelly Award watch list in August 2026. That preseason recognition identifies him among long snappers to watch; it is not a finalist selection or a season award. Penn State also credits him with Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Long snapping is part of the field-goal and punt operation, but a kicker’s makes or a punter’s average are not individual statistics for the snapper. Penn State’s early 2026 game summaries place Sokach-Minnick in those special-teams units without publishing an individual snap count. His recorded appearances and watch-list selection are the supported measures of his role to date.
