Brezina started five Iowa State games in 2025 and made 29 tackles. He recorded five tackles in Penn State’s 2026 opener; a larger local role is not established by that one game.
Cael Brezina transferred from Iowa State to Penn State after making five starts and 29 tackles for the Cyclones in 2025. He also forced a fumble and broke up a pass. In 2024, he started seven of eight appearances and made 22 tackles, including three tackles for loss. Both seasons establish college defensive experience before the move.
Brezina made five tackles in Penn State’s 2026 opener against Marshall, according to his official player biography. The available school game log credits him with one 2026 appearance at that point. That is enough to describe the opener, but not to assign him an ongoing Penn State starting role or infer why later games are absent from the summary.
