Fileppo played 12 games and made 12 tackles, including one for loss, at West Virginia in 2025. Penn State lists him as a sophomore linebacker in 2026 but has not published a current defensive stat line on his available biography.
Chris Fileppo joined Penn State as a sophomore linebacker after one season at West Virginia. He is listed at 6-foot-4 and 219 pounds on Penn State’s 2026 roster. The transfer gives him college game experience, but his documented tackle total belongs to West Virginia rather than Penn State.
Fileppo played in 12 games for West Virginia in 2025. Penn State’s official biography credits him with 12 tackles, eight solo, and one tackle for loss. His five-tackle game against Texas Tech was his largest total that season. West Virginia’s game record also shows him involved in tackles against Texas Tech, supporting the prior-school context.
Penn State’s available player biography does not yet list a 2026 defensive stat line for Fileppo. His West Virginia appearances establish experience, not a guaranteed place in the current linebacker rotation. A Penn State participation record will be needed to describe his new-team role more precisely.
