Rosa had eight Penn State kickoffs for 515 yards through Wisconsin, with no documented field-goal attempt in that sample. He was listed out in the initial October 7 USC availability report; Lucas Tenbrock handled Penn State’s three kickoffs at Northwestern.
Cristiano Rosa is a redshirt-senior kicker on Penn State's 2026 roster after previous stops at Central Connecticut State and James Madison. His documented college work is primarily kickoffs. At James Madison in 2025, he kicked off 90 times for 5,670 yards with 62 touchbacks in 14 games.
Penn State's official biography lists Rosa with three appearances and eight kickoffs for 515 yards through Wisconsin in 2026. Six of those kickoffs came against Buffalo, when five resulted in touchbacks. The game record confirms a kickoff role; it does not show Penn State field-goal attempts or establish him as the field-goal kicker.
The distinction matters when reading the specialist depth chart. Kickoff placement can influence field position, but attempts and touchbacks should not be converted into points scored. Rosa attempted one 40-yard field goal for James Madison in 2024 and missed it. This profile therefore keeps his verified kickoff history separate from any unsupported claim of college field-goal production.
