Finn Furmanek is a redshirt-junior tight end from State College Area High School. Penn State lists him at 6-foot-3 and 251 pounds in 2026. He has been in the program since 2023, when he redshirted, rather than arriving as one of the newer transfers in the tight-end room.
Furmanek appeared in four games on special teams in 2024 and all 13 games in 2025, primarily on special teams. His official biography credits him with Academic All-Big Ten honors in both seasons. Those appearances establish a longer Penn State participation record, but they do not by themselves describe a receiving role.
In 2026, Penn State credits Furmanek with four appearances and one reception for 31 yards, made against Buffalo on September 19.
