Role and Depth Chart Context

Williams started 11 UCLA games in 2025 and Penn State’s first four games of 2026. He had six tackles through Wisconsin and a career-high seven more at Northwestern.

Biography

Keanu Williams arrived at Penn State after playing at Oregon and UCLA. His most recent full season before the transfer was 2025 at UCLA, where he started 11 of 12 games and recorded 39 tackles, 1.5 sacks and a pass breakup. The school’s roster lists him as a redshirt senior defensive tackle in 2026.

Penn State’s player biography credits Williams with starts in each of its first four 2026 games, plus six tackles and a pass breakup through Wisconsin. At Northwestern on October 2, he added a career-high seven tackles, according to the team’s postgame notes. The Northwestern game gives a more current indication of his involvement than the earlier four-game total alone.

Williams brings prior Power Four starting experience to the interior, but the public box scores do not define a permanent order among him, Siale Taupaki and Dallas Vakalahi. His starts and tackles establish regular use through the dated games; future alignments should follow new game evidence.
