Max Granville is a current Penn State defensive end whose 2026 profile is mostly about projection, verified traits, and opportunity. Penn State lists him as a redshirt sophomore at 6-foot-3 and 252 pounds, giving him the size profile to compete in a rebuilt edge group after major NFL departures.
His early Penn State record is still limited. The official bio credits him with seven appearances as a true freshman in 2024, including a pass breakup on a quarterback hit against Kent State and a solo tackle against Maryland. He then missed the 2025 season because of injury, which is important context for any depth-chart expectation.
Granville's high school resume explains why he remains a player to watch.
