Biography

Rocco Becht reunited with head coach Matt Campbell at Penn State in January 2026. The 2023 Big 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year brings 35 career starts and over 8,000 passing yards to Happy Valley. He is known for his processing speed and red-zone efficiency (42:4 TD:INT ratio inside the 20 at Iowa State). Becht played through a Grade 2 labrum tear in late 2025, throwing for 2,584 yards and 16 touchdowns. He underwent surgery in December and is expected to be fully cleared by June 2026.
