Nicholas Sean-Gaylor Singleton is a dynamic running back who broke Saquon Barkley's program squat record with 655 pounds. The 2022 Big Ten Freshman of the Year combines legitimate 4.39 speed with raw power, making him one of the most feared backs in college football. In 2024, he rushed for a career-high 1,099 yards with 6.4 yards per carry and 13 rushing touchdowns, finishing with 1,805 all-purpose yards (fifth in a season at Penn State). He became the sixth Penn State player to reach 1,000 rushing yards in multiple seasons. Together with Kaytron Allen, they became the first Nittany Lion duo to both rush for 1,000 yards in a single season. In 2025, Singleton returned for his senior season with 3,091 career rushing yards, putting him within striking distance of Evan Royster's school record (3,932 yards).
